Ex-Finance Minister Dr. Inaz appointed Chairperson of Pension Office

Former Finance Minister Dr. Ahmed Inaz has been appointed as the Chairperson of Maldives Pension Administration Office.

Inaz had served as Finance Minister during former President Mohamed Nasheed’s administration.

He replaces Athifa Ali, whose terms as Chairperson of Maldives Pension Administration Office recently expired.

Members of the Maldives Pension Administration Office’s Board of Directors are appointed by the President, based on a shortlist of candidates recommended by a committee composed of representatives from the Civil Service Commission, Finance Ministry, and Gender Ministry.
