Telecom operator, Dhiraagu has signed as the digital partner for South Asia Junior and Cadet Table Tennis Championship which kicked off in the Maldives today.
The partnership agreement was executed at a special ceremony held on Sunday. Dhiraagu’s Senior Manager, Brand and Marketing Communications Mohamed Mirshan signed the agreement on behalf of the telecom operator. Meanwhile, Maldives Table Tennis Association was represented by Vice President Ibrahim Shiuree.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Mirshan said Dhiraagu is delighted to support the growing sport in the Maldives.
“We are delighted to be the digital partner for South Asia Junior and Cadet Table Tennis Championship 2022 and support the growing sport in the Maldives. We are extremely proud of our athletes representing the country and wish them all the very best,” he had said.
Table Tennis Association’s Vice President Shiuree thanked Dhiraagu for their support and commitment for the development of table tennis in the country.
“We would like to thank Dhiraagu for their support and renewed commitment for the development of Maldives’ Table Tennis. We are very excited for future collaborations and looking forward to take the sport to the next level,” he had said.
‘South Asian Junior and Cadet Table Tennis Championship 2022’ being held in Maldives from May 9 to May 12 will see the participation of athletes from Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Nepal, Bangladesh, India, and Pakistan apart from local athletes.
This is the most competitive table tennis tournament for junior athletes in the region.
