President makes appointments to Foreign Ministry

President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih on Sunday made new appointments to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. 

The new appointments made are as follows:

Abdul Ghafoor Mohamed as Ambassador-at-Large

Ahmed Latheef as Foreign Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs

While prior to his new appointment, Abdul Ghafoor Mohamed served as the Foreign Secretary, Ahmed Latheef served as the Ambassador of Maldives to the Federal Republic of Germany.
