The deadline to nominate venerable families for Bank of Maldives’ (BML) housing grant is March 31.
‘BML Housing Grant’ was announced in February, as part of the series of 12 high-impact monthly community initiatives to celebrate the national bank’s 40th anniversary in November.
Under the housing grant, the bank will build and fully furnish houses for three vulnerable families across the country. Vulnerable families are to be nominated by NGOs and island councils for the housing grant.
BML’s Public Relations Manager Mohamed Saeed said that safe housing will be provided for the most vulnerable families under the grant.
“Our hope is that councils and NGOs join us to bring about a positive change to the lives of such vulnerable families living in difficult conditions,” he added.
BML has asked for applications for the initiative to be emailed to [email protected] by 12:00am, on March 31.
Further information regarding the housing grant is available on the bank's website.
