Immigration announces easier options for Umrah-goers in making passport

Maldives Immigration on Thursday announced easier alternatives in making passports for pilgrims travelling for Umrah in Ramadan.  

The authority revealed that currently, they were receiving numerous applications to make passports to travel for Umrah.

Hence, an easier alternative arrangement has been provided especially for those travellers at the Passport Section of the Immigration Office.

This option will be made available from March 17, till the end of Ramadan.

Additionally, Immigration urged Umrah pilgrims applying for passports to call '9199165' during official hours, after submitting their application.
