Direct buses between Hulhumale’ Phase II-Male’ City commence

Direct buses have commenced between Hulhumale’ Phase II and Male’ City.

Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) said that depending on traffic, buses traveling this route will make a trip once every hour between 6:00am in the morning and 11:00pm in the night.

The ticket for buses traveling between Hulhumale’ Phase II and Male’ City costs MVR 15.

Whilst people have commenced living in Hulhumale’ Phase II, many of them are employed in Male’ City. Subsequently, the lack of direct buses between Hulhumale’ Phase II and Male’ City was a pressing concern for them.

MTCC said that the commencement of direct bus between Hulhumale’ Phase II and Male’ City will ease the transportation difficulties currently faced by those living in Phase II.

MTCC’s CEO Adam Azim said that prior to the end of July, intervals between scheduled buses will be shortened to 15 minutes.
