Addu Equatorial Hospital, the state hospital located in the southern Maldivian city of Addu, has posted an announcement seeking volunteers.
In the announcement posted on Tuesday morning, the hospital said the volunteers will be required to work six-hour shifts five days a week. Volunteers will be paid a MVR 250 allowance for each day they report to work.
The hospital is seeking 15 nurses, 10 volunteers for the Rapid Response Team, two drivers, two vehicle assistants, five patient care attendants, and a maintenance assistance.
Interested parties have been asked to email a letter, along with CV, photocopies of educational certificates, reference letters, a copy of both sides of the national ID card, and a police report taken less than three months ago to [email protected] before 13:00 hours on Saturday, January 15.
The hospital’s announcement for volunteers comes with active cases in Addu above 100.
According to the Addu Emergency Operations Center, Addu has 132 active cases of COVID-19, including 27 new cases on Monday. One of the patients is hospitalized.
