The health component of the camp was coordinated by MMWM in partnership with SHE, Cancer Society of Maldives, HPA and UNICEF Maldives.

Migrants were also educated on human rights and given legal advice.

The legal aid was provided by representatives from PILC, Transparency Maldives, and HRCM.

The camp’s hosting partner was HDC.

HDC said the company has always supported such camps which promotes racial equality as well as health and safety for all. They added that they are happy to have been a partner of this camp.

The Indian Council for Cultural Relations and the Welfare Association for Tamil Expatriates were also key partners in the event, whose involvement facilitated the increased engagement of the migrant community in the event.
