Youth being treated ADK Hospital after being attacked on Male’ street

A youth is currently being treated at ADK Hospital – after being attacked on a street in Male’ City.

A Police Spokesperson told Sun that the incident took place at Meheli Goalhi, in Henveiru.

On this note, the Spokesperson said that they were informed that an individual has been wounded in an attack at around 08:21am this morning.

The Police have identified the victim as a 22-year-old Maldivian man.

Noting that he is currently being treated at ADK Hospital – no details regarding the extent of the injuries have been disclosed by the Police.

However, they stressed that they were investigating the case further.

When inquired about the status of the victim by Sun, ADK Hospital said that they are unable to give any details as to his condition at the moment.
