MTCC launches cycle ferry service between Addu’s Hulhumeedhoo and Feydhoo

Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has commenced motorcycle ferry service between two districts of Addu City – Hulhumeedhoo and Feydhoo. 

MTCC said that the ferry used for the service launched on Thursday has the capacity to carry 15 motorcycles and 60 passengers.

Special lifts will be used in both Hulhumeedhoo and Feydhoo get the vehicles on the ferry irrespecive of changes in the tide. 

The rate for the service is MVR 20 per motorcycle, said MTCC. 

The service will be available throughout the week, except for Fridays.

MTCC said that as Maldives’ largest transport provider, the company is committed to providing affordable and convenient land and sea transport services to the people.
