Bank of Maldives (BML), on Sunday, has launched self-service banking services at GA. Dhevvadhoo.
The self-service banking center was established by BML in conjunction with its ongoing investment program to support local communities through expanding its banking services across the country.
BML said that the newly established center will support individual and business customers on a 24/7 basis – with services such as cash withdrawal, cash deposit and cash transfer.
In introducing self-service banking to the residents of Dhevvadhoo, the Bank’s CEO, Managing Director Tim Sawyer said that the Bank is committed to support local communities by providing banking services across all parts of the country.
“We are committed to support local communities by providing banking services throughout the country and are today pleased to support the community of Dhevvadhoo. This center will benefit the people and businesses of the island and ensure convenient banking services are widely accessible,” he had said.
With the establishment of a self-service banking center at Dhevvadhoo, Gaafu Alifu atoll now has a branch, a self-service banking center at Villingilli and seven self-service banking ATM centers in the islands; Dhevvadhoo, Kolamaafushi, Dhaandhoo, Maamendhoo, Gemanafushi and Koodoo.
BML is the largest local bank operating in the country at present comprising of a nationwide network of 35 branches across all 20 atolls, 75 self-service banking centers, 136 ATMs, 277 cash agents and a full suite of digital banking services.
