MTCC contracted to build new OPD Wing at Kulhudhuffushi Regional Hospital

Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has been contracted to build the new OPD Wing at HDh. Kulhuduffushi Regional Hospital.

The project was awarded the project during a special ceremony held at Health Ministry on Thursday.

Agreement pertaining to the project was signed by Chief Operating Officer Shahid Hussain on behalf of the company – whereas State Minister Ahmed Adil signed the agreement on behalf of the Ministry.

This project is valued at MVR 20.22 million and must be completed within 180 days. Scope of work under the project includes the construction of 21 consultation rooms, one treatment room, one procedure room, one echo room and an ECG room.

The completion of this project is expected to remedy the capacity issues faced at Kulhuduffushi Regional Hospital and also pave way to improve the efficiency of its services.
