Imran’s meaningful tweet: Will face obstructions when trying to better things

Home Minister Imran Abdulla has posted a meaningful tweet – stating that obstructions will be faced when try to better things.

Minister Imran’s tweet comes after it has been revealed that Home Ministry had been informed by the President’s Office that Maldives Police Service has been removed from their oversight.

In his tweet – Minister Imran further stated that success can be attained by people who find it in themselves to overcome the obstructions faced in order to move forward.

“Facing a multitude of obstructions when trying to better things is natural. Success can be attained by people who find it in themselves to overcome the obstructions faced in order to move forward,” the tweet read.

The President’s Office informed Home Ministry that Maldives Police Service has been removed from their oversight from the date on which the new Police Service Act had come to effect, being March 27, 2021, via a letter sent on October 14. A copy of this letter sent to Home Minister Imran Abdulla signed by the President’s Office’s Chief of Staff Ali Zahir was leaked yesterday.

The letter further read that the responsibilities of the Ministry following the removal of Maldives Police Service from their oversight will be informed to them via a written document. It also instructed the Ministry to continue the oversight of other organizations assigned to them.
