MTCC completes M. Veyvah harbor upgrading project

Maldives Transport and Contracting Company Plc. (MTCC) has announced the completion of the harbor upgrading project at M. Veyvah contracted to them.

The project valued at MVR 48.8 million was successfully completed on September 10, 2021.

Work under the project involved the dredging and excavations of a new basin measuring 56,925 cbm; dredging and excavation of a new channel measuring 3,914 cbm; construction of a 350m breakwater; a 380m quay wall; a 130m revetment; installation of 1,880sqm of paved area and installation of streetlights.

The project was awarded to MTCC by the Ministry of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure on August 27, 2021.
