Police have made seven arrested in a crackdown on a prostitution ring in GA. Dhaandhoo.
A police spokesperson told Sun the arrests were made on Saturday night, in response to a report of prostitution in Dhaandhoo.
“Seven suspects have been arrested in an operation last night in response to information of prostitution in Dhaandhoo,” said the spokesperson.
Police identified the suspects arrested as two Maldivian females, two Maldivian males, and three foreign males.
“The case is under investigation by the police,” said the spokesperson.
Dhaandhoo Council was not immediately available for comment regarding the case.
