Indian navy ship, Sharda has arrived in Maldives to mark the conclusion of a joint maritime exercise between Maldives National Defense Force and Indian Coastguard.
INS Sharda, a Sukanya class patrol vessel, arrived in Maldives on Thursday morning.
According to MNDF, the ship arrived in Maldives to mark the conclusion of the joint maritime exercise Ex-Ekatha 04.
The ship is set to leave Maldives on Monday, July 12.

Maldives and India conduct routine joint military exercises, including DOSTI – which was held for the first time back in 1991. DOSTI became a trilateral exercise in 2012 – with Sri Lanka joining Maldives and India in the exercise.
