Police to conduct autopsy on 13-year-old murder victim

Maldives police have decided to conduct a postmortem examination to determine the exact cause of death of a young boy who was found murdered in the Maldivian capital.

The body of the 13-year-old boy was found in a black suitcase in the beach area of Hulhumale’ phase II at 02:38 am this Tuesday.

The young boy was found murdered after police launched an investigation upon receiving report of his possible kidnapping on Sunday.

The police have made two arrests in connection to the case; a 17-year-old boy and a 27-year-old man.

The case is under further investigation by the police.
