Maldives Police Service celebrates 88th anniversary

A flag-hoisting ceremony was held on Sunday to celebrate 88 years to Maldives Police Service.

The ceremony in Male’ was held on Monday night at the Maldives Police Service headquarters – Shaheed Hussain Adam Building, and in atolls in police stations.

Maldives Police Service said that while anniversary flag-hoisting ceremonies in the past were led with a large number of participants, the ceremony this year was scaled down to just flag bearers in light of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
