MTCC commences launch ferry services between Th. Atoll and L. Atoll

Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has commenced speedboat ferry services between Th. Atoll and L. Atoll.

The stops under the new route are; Th. Veymandoo, Th. Thimarafushi, and L. Gan.

THE RATES:

• Veymandoo-Thimarafushi: One-way MVR 75, two-way MVR 150
• Veymandoo/Thimarafushi-Gan: One-way MVR 250, two-way MVR 400

MTCC states that trips under the new route will be held four days a week (on Sundays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays).

The capacity of the launch used for the service is 70 passengers.

MTCC has thanked Economic Minister Fayyaz Ismail, Transport Minister Aishath Nahula, Gan MP Mohamed Wisam, and Fonadhoo MP Moosa Siraj for their support in launching the service.
