2 suspects flee from police station in Kaashidhoo

Two suspects held at the K. Kaashidhoo Police Station have fled police custody.

According to the police, the two suspects fled custody at approximately 01:00 pm this Wednesday.

The two were identified as Ahmed Simau, Alunthila, K. Kaashidhoo, and Ibrahim Fawaz, South Corner, K. Kaashidhoo.

According to the police, Fawaz was taken back into custody at approximately 01:45 pm, while the Simau remains at large.

The police have asked for anyone with information regarding the fugitive to contact the Kaashidhoo Police Station at 9791519.

The police said they are investigating the case, and are taking necessary measures to prevent such incidents in the future.
