Crew member of foreign boat requiring medical care moved to Gan Hospital

A crew member of a foreign cargo boat who required emergency medical care has been taken to the L. Gan Regional Hospital with the assistance of the Maldives National Defense Force (MNDF).

MNDF said that the boat which the crew member was on, was traveling from Turkey to Australia and named “Maysora”. 

It was a 40-year old Filipino crew member of the boat who was moved to the Gan Regional Hospital due to a head injury, according to MNDF.

The crew member was moved around 8:30 in the morning today.
