Two injured in violent altercation in Male’

Two people have been injured in a violent altercation between two groups in Male’ City.

According to the police, the incident took place in front of a café located in Majeedhee Magu, Le Traffic, at approximately 07:55 am on Monday.

Two people sustained head injuries in the incident and were taken to Indhira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH).

“The injuries they sustained are not serious,” said a police spokesperson.

The case is under investigation by the police.
