Suspect arrested for sexual assault of woman in Thoddoo

Maldives Police Service has arrested a suspect for the sexual assault of a 31-year-old woman in A. A. Thoddoo.

The sexual assault was reported to the police on Friday.

The victim suffers from a disability, said the police.

The suspect in the case, a 43-year-old Bangladeshi man was arrested under court order on Saturday.

The case is under further investigation by the police.
