The presidential committee formed to evaluate how housing units and flats were awarded in the previous administration has published a temporary list on awardees from four categories after disqualifying some due to failure to meet requirements.

This list published today includes categories for:

  • Housing for doctors and nurses – H4
  • Housing for teachers – H5
  • Residents of Male’ City – H8
  • Families with disabled children – H10

Details about the awardees as well as points awarded were also included in the list. Flats are awarded if the applicants receive more than 560 points. Those who received less were disqualified.

A total of 111 were disqualified from the previous list published by the former administration for failing to meet the requirements. Details about how the applicants were disqualified are also available.

A total of 13 were disqualified from the H4 category while 16 were disqualified from the H5 category. 46 were disqualified from the H8 category while 36 were disqualified from the H10 category.

Complaints regarding the disqualifications can be submitted to the Housing Ministry’s designated portal until September 14, 2020, at 14:00.

Awardees from some other categories have still not been finalized. The committee said that these lists are also to be published by October.
