Manta Air recommences operations

Local operator Manta Air has recommenced passenger travels within the Maldives as the country reopened its borders after 110 days. 

The airline will be operating to B. Atoll, and Dh. Atoll as part of its first post lockdown operations.

Manta said that it was reassuring to once again begin serving customers and would work to uphold the high standards of the company.

The airline will be operating in line with the safety standards for airlines in the country as part of the new normal initiative.

The airline said that demand charter flights and seaplane operations of the company would still go on. Manta had been involved in seaplane transfers of locals stranded in Male’ City during the COVID-19 lockdown.
