Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) will be taking part in the "Dream to Travel Festival" by PATA.
MMPRC said the virtual festival to be held from June 22 to July 17 will see the preparations by the Maldives made for the reopening of borders showcased in addition to the latest information about the country and its tourism industry.
MMPRC Managing Director Thayyib Mohamed said that the reopening of Maldivian borders on July 15 was reassuring news for travelers who wished to come to the Maldives.
"The platform will bring different news about Maldivian tourism, and will show that the country is prepared to receive travelers," said Thayyib.
MMPRC has established a "digital showroom" to display the country's tourism scenery via videos. Prices will also be up for grabs at the festival. A quiz will be held under the name "Discover Maldives, the Sunny Side of Life" from 13:00 to 13:30 (GMT+5) tomorrow, According to MMPRC.
A one-hour live session of messages will also be held on July 16, 8:00 (GMT+5). More information activities to promote the Maldives are still on the agenda for the festival
