A meeting to discuss the financial steps to be taken regarding climate change named “Climate Finance Mobilization and Access Strategy workshop for the island states in the Indian Ocean” is underway.
The meeting was commenced by Environment Minister and is held at Hotel Jen, Male’ city.

Five nations are taking part in the meeting. They are Sri Lanka, Mauritius, Seychelles, Comoros, and the Maldives.
The meeting will see island nations discuss financial, technological and humanitarian strategies and a survey to find out the additional resources needed which will be conducted with UNFCCC and the Environment Ministry.
