Bangladeshi national arrested for sexual abuse of a 16-year-old girl

Maldives Police Service, on Wednesday, arrested a suspect in connection to the sexual abuse of a young girl in central Maldives.

The sexual abuse of the victim, identified as a 16-year-old girl, was reported to the North Central Police Division at 00:32 on Wednesday.

The police confirm the arrest of a 34-year-old Bangladeshi male in connection to the case.

The case is under further investigation.
