MP Jabir requests to visit President Yameen in jail

Kaashidhoo MP Jabir has requested to meet the former President Abdulla Yameen in prison.

MP Jabir made the request in a letter to the Home Minister stating that he wished to see the condition and health of the former President as the leader of DRP. The former President was convicted of money laundering and sentenced to five years in prison earlier this week.

MP Jabir, who has previously called to arrest and jail the former President, is a notable critic of the former President.
