Migrant worker falls from a house in Male’ city

Amigrant worker has fallen from a house located in Henveiru of Male’ city. The worker fell from the first floor of the house, reported a “Sun” journalist at the scene and has now been taken to the hospital for medical treatment.

Police stated that reports of the incident were received around 11:30 in the morning. Police also confirmed that the man was taken to IGMH for medical treatment and that officers were active at the scene. Further information provided by Police showed that the migrant worker was in the Maldives illegally without a work permit.

IGMH media officials stated that the migrant workers’ condition was not serious.
