The Judicial Service Commission has scheduled to review the case of Dr. Hassan Faiz who is the Secretary-General of the Supreme Court on Wednesday amidst rumors that the Secretary-General will be dismissed from the Court.

JSC issued a statement that read that the Commission had received information from the Secretary-General that Chief Justice Dr. Ahmed Abdulla Didi had threatened him with dismissal for disrupting the work of the Court in any manner.

JSC is already investigating a disciplinary case of the Chief Justice after he issued a statement criticizing the Commission. The Chief Justice and four other judges of the court are also embroiled in a row with the Commission over allegations that the judges misused the petty cash of the court for lunch purposes.
