Staff Sergeant Najah wins gold at Akshay Kumar Kudo Tournament

A Maldivian citizen has won a gold medal at the 11th Akshay Kumar International Invitational Kudo Tournament.

Kudo is a Japanese hybrid martial art.

The 11th Akshay Kumar International Invitational Kudo Tournament was held in Surat, Gujrat, India on Thursday, October 24.

Several Maldivian citizens took part in the tournament, including Staff Sergeant Ibrahim Najah from the Special Forces of the MNDF, who won a gold medal after successfully competing in the PI 240 category.

He was presented with the gold medal last Saturday.

Najah has been congratulated by the Chief of Defense Force, Major-General Abdulla Shamaal.
