Tire blowout causes dangerous accident in Addu city

An accident that involved a pickup has left five people injured in Addu city.

Police stated that the accident occurred due to a tire blowout on the pickup which was traveling on the Addu link road around 1:00 in the afternoon. Those injured in the accident were the two people at the front seats of the pickup and the three on the back deck of the pickup.

They are now being treated at the Hithadhoo Regional Hospital.
