Bank of Maldives (BML) has donated 60 wheelchairs for people in need in different islands across the country as part of its “Aharenge Bank” program.
The wheelchairs donated are motorized and follow the bank’s initiative last year that saw it donate 76 wheelchairs. CEO and MD of BML Tim Sawyer stated that BML will always focus on providing aid and assistance to the community.
This year we donated 60 motorised wheelchairs to individuals with disabilities across the country. This brings the total to 76 wheelchairs donated since 2017. It has been truly inspiring to be a part of this initiative. #AharengeBankhttps://t.co/cVLL9UwjAD pic.twitter.com/Y4Rc3z0Ll4
