Addu accident injured passes away

A man who was injured in an accident in Addu city last September has passed away.

The accident that saw two motorcycles collide happened on September 17 and a 55-year-old man was left badly injured in the incident. His condition was so serious that he had to be transferred to IGMH in Male’ City for further treatment.

IGMH media officials stated that the man had died around 8:30 in the morning and that he unconscious for a long time in the ICU of the hospital. The official also stated that the man had gained consciousness this Sunday but still had to be treated in the ICU.

The second man involved in the accident had fled from the location after the accident but was later arrested when he came to the hospital for treatment.
