Man found dead at a pay toilet in Male’ City

A man has been found dead at a pay toilet in Male’ City.

Maldives Police Service reports that the man, identified as a 54-year-old Maldivian citizen, was found unresponsive on a chair at the pay toilet located in Kurangi Goalhi at approximately 10:30 am this Sunday.

The man was transported to ADK Hospital, which reported the man was already deceased.

Maldives Police Service reports the man showed no outward sign of injury.

The case is under further investigation by the agency.
