Agreement signed with Griffith University to develop health services

Ministry of Health has signed an agreement with Griffith University of Australia to develop the labor services provided in the Maldives health sector.

The agreement was signed in an event held at the Ministry of Health this Sunday Morning.

With this agreement Griffith University will provide the Health Ministry of Maldives with the necessary assistance to develop the labor services of the health sector.

Additionally, the Ministry and Griffith University will conduct joint research projects and educational programs to develop health sector.

Moreover, this agreement will also help in the government’s work for more advanced ambulance services and emergency services. Programs will be held to train doctors, nurses, health workers and health assistances. As well as training programs for community paramedics.

Educational programs on First Aid and related fields will also be held with in corporation with a Maldivian University.
