President establishes Fahi Dhiriulhun Corporation Limited

President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has established the Fahi Dhiriulhun Corporation Limited – designed to consolidate carryout all State housing projects.

President announced his administration’s intention of consolidating all State housing projects and creating a national housing corporation during his address to the Parliament on February 7.

President’s Office reports the establishment of Fahi Dhiriulhun Corporation is part of the administration’s pledge to provide affordable housing for Maldivian citizens.

The corporation is tasked with managing all current and future State housing projects, providing affordable housing, providing subsidized housing to low income citizens, and arranging for financial facilities to assist first-time apartment owners.

State housing projects were previously managed by Ministry of Housing.
