Tourist dies while snorkeling

A tourist snorkeling at Paradise Island Resort has died after drowning.

Maldives Police Service confirmed that a 66-year-old Korean woman who went snorkeling at Paradise Island Resort died after drowning today around 5:07 p.m.

The victim was immediately taken to ADK Hospital after the drowning incident.

The exact time of her death is unclear at this time.
