Popular television presenter Moosa Waseem has been appointed Communications and Public Relations Manager of Island Aviation.
Moosa Waseem has a record of years of experience as a news anchor and presenter at Television Maldives, and also served as CEO of ICE TV.
He also co-hosted the three seasons of the first international franchise TV show in Maldives, the Maldivian Idol; during which he gained public attention and celebrity-status for his fun and friendly hosting style.
Moosa Waseem is also a Brand Advocate for Dhiraagu, and Anti-Drug Ambassador for National Drug Agency.
The upper management of Island Aviation – which operates the national airline of Maldives, Maldivian Airline – has been overhauled by the new Maldivian administration, with Mohamed Rizvee appointed MD and Aishath Jennifer appointed DMD.
Maldivian recently reduced its fares by 25-30 percent, in compliance with the current administration’s pledge to reduce cost of domestic air travel within its first 100 days in office.
