STELCO warns of possible power outages in Male’ City

State Electric Company (STELCO) has warned of possible power outages in areas of Male’ City as it fixes an issue to one of its main generators.

STELCO said in a statement this Thursday that the company was working on fixing an issue with one of its main generators. And that electricity may go out from areas in Male’ City for approximately one hour during the time.

The company has advised the public to economize its use of electricity as much as possible.

The warning of more power outages comes after several areas of Male’ City suffered power outages earlier this Thursday morning.
