President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih (Ibu)’s Cabinet members have taken their oath of office.
The oath was administered by Chief Justice Dr. Ahmed Abdulla Didi in a function held at the President’s Office this Saturday night.

- Minister of Defense, Mariya Ahmed Didi
- Minister of Home Affairs, Imran Abdulla
- Minister of Finance and Treasury, Ibrahim Ameer
- Minister of Higher Education, Dr. Ibrahim Hassan
- Minister of National Planning and Infrastructure, Mohamed Aslam
- Minister of Communication, Science and Technology, Mohamed Maleeh Jamal
- Minister of Health, Abdulla Ameen
- Minister of Education, Dr. Aishath Ali
- Minister of Tourism, Ali Waheed
- Minister of Economic Development, Uz. Fayyaz Ismail
- Minister of Fisheries, Marine Resources and Agriculture, Zaha Waheed
- Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dr. Ahmed Zahir

Solih’s Cabinet includes three former parliamentarians who announced their resignation right after Solih’s inauguration; Mariya Ahmed Didi, Ahmed Mahloof and Fayyaz Ismail.
Solih has changed the structure to 19 ministries, including four new ministries. They are:
- Ministry of Higher Education
- Ministry of Arts, Culture and Heritage
- Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation
- Ministry of Communication, Science and Technology
