Man stabbed with sharp object

A man has been attacked with a sharp object in Male’ City.  

Maldives Police Service said that the attack took place this morning around 7:07 a.m. on Neelofaru Magu and the victim is now being treated at Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH).  

IGMH said that a 33-year-old man was brought to the hospital around 7:10 a.m. following an attack. The man had nine stab wounds according to the hospital.  

Sun Media has learned that the man was at home when he was attacked by two people who came by on a motorcycle. The two assailants dragged the victim to the street and attacked him according to sources.
