President returns from tour of Th. Atoll

President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has returned to Male’ City after concluding his three-day tour of Th. Atoll.

Yameen embarked on his tour of Th. Atoll last Monday.

His first stop was at Th. Thimarafushi where he inaugurated water services on the island.

Yameen participated in functions held to mark completion of coastal protection projects at Th. Veymandoo and Th. Kandoodhoo and the function to mark completion of road development project at Th. Vilufushi.

He also inaugurated sanitation services at Th. Burunee, Th. Dhiyamigili and Th. Madifushi.

His last stop was at Th. Madifushi this Wednesday, where he marked completion of a land reclamation project, a coastal protection project and inaugurated sanitation services on the island.
