Judicial Service Commission (JSC) has lifted the suspension it issued on Chief Judge of Family Court Hassan Saeed after two years.
JSC suspended Judge Hassan Saeed indefinitely in early 2016 pending outcome of investigation into a disciplinary issue against him.
JSC’s Director, Hassan Zaheen reported to “Sun” this Wednesday that the commission has made the decision not to pursue the investigation, and has therefore lifted his suspension.
Judge Hassan Saeed rejoined work last Tuesday after the commission informed him of its decision to lift the suspension.
Judge Hassan Saeed had originally filed a lawsuit against JSC over his suspension but later withdrew it.
