Ministry of Housing and Infrastructure has announced the allocation of housing units for doctors and nurses under the Hiyaa Housing Project.
475 housing units have been allocated for doctors and nurses under the Hiyaa Project.
Ministry of Housing and Infrastructure said in an announcement last Thursday that 125 of the housing units will be allocated for doctors, and the remaining 350 housing units for nurses.
Changes have also made to the pointing system for the two categories.
The checkbox for National Qualification Authority (MQA) level 7,8 and 9 certificate-holders has been amended to include MQA level 4, 5 and 6 certificate-holders as well.
Doctors and nurses who work for private companies will also be able to apply for the housing units under the project, instead of just doctors and nurses working in the public sector.
The deadline to submit Hiyaa Project application forms in July 31.
Forms can be submitted to ministry officials at Dharubaaruge from 9 am to 3 pm and 4 pm to 6 pm and 8 pm to 11 pm every day, except for Fridays.
7,000 housing units will be developed under the Hiyaa Project in Phase II of Hulhumale’.
