Former President Mohamed Nasheed has met with the Prime Minister of Denmark, Lars Løkke Rasmussen.
Nasheed arrived in Denmark as part of his visit to some European countries to discuss the upcoming Presidential Election in the Maldives.
After quite some time in Sri Lanka, ex-President Nasheed started his European tour on 27 March.
In a tweet sent out yesterday, Nasheed said that it was "great catching up with my old friend" and that the political crisis, radicalism and the stability in the Indian Ocean in relation to the Maldives was discussed.
Nasheed thanked the Danish Prime Minister for his excellent work at COP15 which produced initial agreements by countries to reduce emissions & led to the successful COP21 in Paris.
